Our koi for sale are hand picked by a selection of the famous breeders in Niigata. For the fist time we can offer for immediate sale, selected tategoi tossai, (destined for the mud ponds and viewed to this date by the breeder only), along with tategoi nissai, sansai, yonsai and older koi. The latter are available for sale with shipments through to late May, with all tategoi tossai going to the mud ponds
At tategoi-koi and koi breeders direct we recommend that all koi imported from Japan are quarantined for a minimum of six weeks in tanks separated by breeder, each with their own filtration systems. The breeders are asked wheter their koi are female or male at the time of filming, some give their opinion  freely, while others prefer not to state their judgement. As koi hobbyists you will all be aware how difficult it is for the breeder to separate out his females at the tossai stage, hence the reluctance of some breeders to offer a judgement. With nissai and older koi the breeder is usually far more sure in his judgement.
All the koi supplied are seen on the photographs/videos which were taken during April 2008. Koi will be supplied to the airport of choice of the customer/dealer on a global basis. While losses today are quite rare, they do sometimes occur , all our koi are purchased from long standing companies with high quality koi, this coupled with Dennis Wordsworth’s knowledge is usually sufficient to ensure healthy koi supplied to your destination Country.
Our support plans are in designed to offer the purchaser an extra level of comfort if they so require, in effect a layered set of insurance products to protect your investment. These are based on as easy to understand system of 10% or 20% of the total cost of the koi, and can be purchased at the initial purchase date or up to the 30th Sep 2008.
