 On the 7th April 2008 TateGoi-Koi will be launching their brand new website www.koibreedersdirect.com. For the whole of April 2008 the TateGoi-Koi team will be in Japan working with a select number of respected koi breeders, their task will be to source the very best quality and high class koi and TateGoi, destined for mudpond growth through the summer of 2008.
These koi will be selected by Dennis Wordsworth (arguably the best koi eyes outside of Japan, Peter Waddington Jan 08). Each koi will be photographed and filmed individually and then, together with a brief description, these photographs and short videos will be uploaded to the www.koibreedersdirect.com web site, with koi priced for immediate sale. While some koi may be selected by customers for immediate shipping, the majority will enter the limited Japanese mud pond space for the 2008 growing season.
Koi hobbyists around the world will be able to buy the koi at any time through to the 30th Sep 2008, ownership will transfer immediately to the customer while the koi are still in Japan. Koi hobbyists for the first time, will be able to enjoy the anticipation and thrill of waiting to see how koi will emerge from the growing season, whether tosai, nissai, sansai or yonsai!
