 Well what a busy first week, we seem to be working like a well oiled machine here in Niigata along with our translator Anri. Our initial focus was to visit selected breeders and sign them up to the new www.koibreedersdirect.com system. This has kept us really busy with transporting our mobile photo lab to breeders such as Shintaro, Hasegawa, Torazo, Oomo, Marusho, and Kaneko.
We have been taking fantastic shots and quality video of their ‘Real tategoi’ which are all destined for the mudponds. For the first time as I am aware, customers will be able to buy high class koi, and view them just prior to going into the mudponds, tossai, nissai, sansai and yonsai.
To give you an idea we spent a full day with Mitsuo Hasegawa photographing his selection of 40 (yes 40) nissai, sansei and yonsai – what a great day that was.
